Helen Reingold, Psy.D., is a clinical psychologist dedicated to offering compassionate and individually tailored mental health treatment to adults. Dr. Reingold maintains an active faculty practice, specializing in short- and long-term psychotherapy. She works with a diverse clientele and addresses a rage of presenting concerns, including depression, anxiety, and perinatal mood disorders. Dr. Reingold is trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy and integrates evidence-based treatment approaches to meet the unique needs of her patients. She has received additional training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and the psychological impact of coping with diabetes, and obesity. Dr. Reingold enjoys opportunities to promote education about mental health issues and psychological wellness. She has presented on various topics including Postpartum Mood Disorders, Perinatal Grief and Loss, and Mental Health in Older Adults, to the community and to colleagues at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Dr. Reingold earned her degree from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California, where she graduated with honors in 2004. Dr. Reingold is licensed as a psychologist in New York State.
