Sawtelle Learning Center

Sawtelle Learning Center is a private, special education school for students affected with autism who are 3 to 21 years of age. It uses a structured, behaviorally based model and various programs to meet the individual needs of the students. Sawtelle s programs include an active parents association that provides education, advocacy and fundraising in. Its students participate in a variety of entertaining and learning activities throughout the year, such as spring festival and art show. It offers language development program with speech and language therapists, occupational therapy and data collection services to ensure careful monitoring of each child's progress. The school also offers an annual prom for high school students. Sawtelle Learning Center was established by YCS in 1992 and is located in Montclair, N.J.
