The Golden Earthworm has been in operation since 1996. Owner Matthew Kurek is a former chef-turned-farmer who has an appreciation for sustainable agriculture. His partners, wife Maggie Wood and fellow farmer James Russo, help run the farm. Together, they supply over 1,800 member's families of the Community Supported Agriculture Program, with over 100 varieties of vegetables. It currently has eighty acres in production on two parcels of farmland preserved by a land preservation program.
