The teaching and preaching of Destiny Preparation Church is intended to be practical, but powerful. Our pastor preaches about concepts that tie to the personal experiences we live through and with on a regular basis. It's our intention to show that the Word of God fits! It's not outdated or irrelevant. By creating a solid spiritual foundation we prepare ourselves to effectively address the natural issues we face in everyday life. Teaching at DPC often involves series of lessons and sermons on key topics that provide learning in a variety of ways and levels. These continual lessons help us to better understand and digest' the concepts the bible presents to us. Teaching ranges from subjects as fundamental as salvation and applied faith to the depth of spiritual gifts or the book of Revelations. One of the strongest passions of our church surrounds the belief that God created us to glorify Himself. We believe in powerful, elaborate, liberating praise expressed with all our heart. Our worship is heart-felt and Holy Spirit-led. We believe that the presence of God actually meets with us in the midst of our worship to meet our needs for comfort, healing and deliverance. We host an annual Worship Conference to share this experience with others throughout this area. We believe our children are an important part of the church today. We organize special events just for them such as our annual Youth Day where the entire service is centered on them. We provide child care as needed during our Sunday services for children ages 0-5.
