History
Fresh Company was founded by Shelley Boris and Kimball Gell in 2004. A catering/food service company with a philosophy of sourcing great ingredients from the ahead and beyond that creates seasonal menus rooted in traditional dishes. Fresh Company runs the food service at Storm King Art Center and The Garrison Institute. Shelley Boris published Fresh Cooking Recipes from the Garrison Institute Kitchen, Monkfish Publishing in 2014. Fresh Company has fed many inspiring thinkers and artists over the years, including Lou Reed, Mikhail Gorbechov and the Dalai Lama!
