Founded in 1980, the FASNY provides bilingual and bicultural education to approximately 800 students per year in its three different campuses (the Lower Campus in Larchmont, the Upper Campus in Mamaroneck, and the Pre-School Campus in Scarsdale). The Upper Campus serves grades 6-12.
The school's community is formed by families from 45 countries, including local American families, French expatriates, French-American families, and others.
Accredited by the French Ministry of National Education, New york State Department of Education, and the New York State Association of Independent Schools, the FASNY's academic program follows the traditional American and official French curricula. Upon graduation, students are awarded a FASNY diploma and are trained to pass the French Baccalaureate.
