This unprotected beach requires visitors to have village beach stickers in order to park between the Friday before Memorial Day until the middle of September. Surfcasting, launching power boats and surfing outside of designated areas are prohibited during this period between 9am and 6pm. Parking stickers are available at Village Hall and Coopers Beach, and are free for village residents. The beach is adjacent to Peconic Land Trust's Phillips Pond Preserve, a 6-acre area of ocean dunes and freshwater wetlands. Camping, alcohol bonfires, erecting tents, playing hardball, littering, unleashed animals and nudity are prohibited at all times. The facilities feature an air station for car tires.
