History
In the early 1980's Penny Haley introduced her original calzones at the Eastern States Exposition (The Big E). This is the largest fair in the Northeastern United States, attracting over one million people every September. Noting the popularity and demand for her product, Penny with her son Dan (hence D.P.) opened the first D.P. Dough Restaurant in 1987 in Amherst, MA. Today, with our systems and procedures perfected, all D.P. Dough stores offer a wide variety of calzones, including D.P. Dough in Albany. The Albany store has been feeding the needs of our college students and customers since we opened in June 2007. In 2014 DP Dough Albany was taken over by new owners, remodeled, and revamped with higher food quality, new atmosphere, updated menu, and a huge emphasis on ensuring a wonderful customer experience.

Our business specializes in Calzones! We offer everything (well almost everything) you could ever imagine fresh baked inside of our delicious dough. We also offer other options such as wings, boneless wings, tater tots, breadstix, cheesestix, cookies, and ice cream. We offer pick up, dine in, and delivery. We are open until 2am from Sun-Weds and until 4am Thurs-Sat). D.P. dough is the ultimate food to fulfill all your late night cravings.
