The Don Monti Memorial Research Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for cancer research and supporting patients undergoing treatment at the Don Monti Cancer Centers. Since its establishment in 1972, the foundation has raised over $50 million dollars to alleviate the suffering of patients, assist their families, and ultimately find a cure for all types of cancer.
Through their donations, the foundation also supports the research activities of scientists at the Joseph and Tita Monti Research Center at the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and provides scholarships for students with academic concentrations in the sciences, pre-med, and genetics at Long Island University's Post Campus.
