HistoryI spent most of my life around great teachers. At some point I noticed they had a profound impact on me. Not only did they help me to become a better musician, but they gave me confidence in who I was, and helped shape the way I viewed things. When I saw and understood how much of a voice they had in my life, I knew that I wanted to be able to pass that along to another generation of musicians. So began my teaching journey. I started teaching piano in 2010. One of the first things that I noticed was the available beginner learning material was underwhelming at best. I began to make personalized paths for each of my students to follow to make lessons more exciting and to help information stick better. I have seen many people who have not had success elsewhere flourish because of this.SpecialtiesI specialize in shaping my piano lessons in such a way that people are excited about what they are learning, while simultaneously developing correct piano technique, and thorough understanding of music theory. I work with my students individually to create a plan to expand and stretch your musical mind, as well as work on material that is still fun and familiar. I teach students of all ages. I am also available as an accompanist for singers and instrumentalists.
