Founded in 1955, Temple Beth Am is a mainstream reform congregation of over 500 families. Based in Buffalo, N.Y., it offers a variety of religious services and spiritual opportunities to its members and to people interested in exploring Jewish life. The organization's services include Erev Shabbat, Shabbat morning worship and Torah study, High Holy Day and festival, family Shabbat and Shabbatot. Additionally, Temple Beth Am has active auxiliaries, including a Sisterhood, Men's Group, NFTY-affiliated Youth Group, a Junior Youth Group and an active Outreach Program for interfaith families. Temple Beth Am is a member of the Union for Reform Judaism.
