History
My education started at the Tri-State College of Acupuncture where I learned Traditional Chinese Medicine, Traditional Japanese Acupuncture, and Trigger Point Dry needling. In my third year of schooling, I started a mentorship program (which I am still learning from today) in Classical Chinese Medicine with Timothy Aitken; a master practitioner and pediatric specialist in the teaching lineage of Jeffery Yuen. My first clinical experience came in my third year of school where we treated patients under the supervision of our teachers. I then moved to a physical therapy and pain management practice in Astoria. After about a year, I took a position with Long Island Spine Rehabilitation Medicine where I really honed my skills in a diverse array of pain management cases. After almost 3 years, I opened my own practice where I could follow my passion and continue to grow in other fields of acupuncture.
