Since 2008, Irvington's Chutney Masala Indian Bistro has been serving regional Indian cuisine. Housed in a two-story brick building, a short distance from the Hudson, this restaurant has river views from the second floor. The interior has an ambience of relaxed elegance, with brick walls, earth tone hues and emerald green cushioned chairs. Chutney Masala's specialty dish is Murgh Tikka Makhanwala which consists of chicken tikkas braised in a fenugreek scented tomato cream sauce. The restaurant's signature cocktail is the called the 'Taazatini', which is a martini made with muddled cucumber, lime, mint and green chili juice, strained and shaken with vodka.
