The Church of St. Joseph originally began back in 1905, when the pastor of Immaculate Conception Church in Tuckahoe would make weekly visits to Bronxville to celebrate mass, which was held at the Gramatan Hotel. In 1922, the parish was officially established, with Father Joseph L. McCann as pastor. The church's structure was built six years later, in 1928.
St. Joseph's School is affiliated with the church, which also offers youth ministry, choir, a prayer-study group, Legion of Mary, Moms & Tots and the St. Joseph's Men's Club, among other ministries.
The pastor is Reverend Monsignor James F. Doyle.
