Children's Aid Society, located in New York City, was established more than 150 years ago. It is one of the oldest and leading child welfare agencies in the United States. The organization serves more than 120,000 children and their families every year. Children's Aid Society supports individuals from diverse races, religions, nationalities and socio-economic groups. It operates in more than 100 cities and provides several teen pregnancy prevention programs and community schools. The organization s services include education, health, counseling, adoption and foster care, career readiness, arts and recreation, and emergency assistance.
