Chef Pietro Mosconi was born in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy and began cooking in NYC when he arrived in 1966. Pietro is the executive chef and part owner of two longtime Greenwich Village eateries - Villa Mosconi & Montes Trattoria - For years his loyal customers have asked him about his recipes and how he makes certain dishes which he has always been willing to share. As an active member of the Chefs de Cuisine Association of America and other culinary organizations Pietro has mentored several young chefs.
