Chateau Dusseau 315.497.WINE Chateau Dusseau, a New York State farm winery, is located in the Town of Locke, in Southern Cayuga County. Just minutes away from larger towns like Binghamton, Cortland, Ithaca, and Syracuse (see Directions & Map), it is a truly unique farm winery experience that's not to be missed! Located near the eastern side of the Cayuga Lake Wine trail, residents of the Central New York region have come to appreciate Chateau Dusseau as their "neighborhood winery, " becoming loyal customers who keep coming back. The two owners, brothers Robert and Stephen Dusseau - originally from nearby Moravia - have been making wine for years. Their dream of opening a winery became a reality in May 2006, after about five years of developing the site and building the tasting room and winemaking facility with their own hands. Robert and Steve look forward to a bright future and an ever-expanding clientele, who have come to love the dry red wines, the shimmering whites, and the sweeter wines with great enthusiasm. "Our customers - people from all over the world - come in out of curiosity because they've seen our flags on State Rt. 90, and then are so pleasantly surprised over the quality of the wines, " says Robert, the principal winemaker. "They equally love the placement of the site, high on a bluff where the Cayuga and the Seneca Lake basins can be seen to the west. The view from here is spectacular, especially at sunset! We invite you to come taste our wines and see for yourself how beautiful it is here". Julian Thomas: Web site development West Hill Graphics: Graphics, Maps Patrick J.
