Founded in 1891, New York Law School is one of the oldest, independent law schools in the United States. With a staff of more than 80 teachers, the school has an enrollment of over 1,500 students. Its academic building occupies nearly 235,000 square feet of space. New York Law School offers graduate and certificate programs in tax, real estate and mental disability law. The school also has a library that maintains a collection of journals, reference materials, electronic resources, and sample and practice papers. It operates several academic centers, including the Justice Action Center, Center on Financial Services and Center on Business Law & Policy. New York Law School s online bookstore sells a selection of course books and stationery supplies.
