Camp Caledonia overlooks Black Lake in New York's beautiful North Country. The lake, known as "nature's fish hatchery," is a favorite destination of anglers. Whether it's bass, pike, muskie, or panfish, something's always biting. Fans of outdoor activities--and those in need of a spot to relax--will find much to love about the area. There are local museums, artisans, and farmstands to discover, and we are convenient to the St. Lawrence River's fishing and attractions. We offer seven one- or two-bedroom rental cottages. Four Highland cottages boast spectacular lake views, and three Lowland cottages are mere steps from the shoreline. The location is perfect for fishing trips, family vacations, large gatherings, working vacations, and quiet get-aways. Cottages are private, with ample parking for vehicles and trailers. Guests may rent boats or motors (including pontoon boats, aluminum fishing boats, outboards, sailboat, and kayak) and make use of the camp's docks, gas pump, and boat ramp. Amenities include free Wi-Fi, private fire pits, indoor and outdoor games, and a library. Guests need not drive far for supplies: we are 15 minutes from Edwardsville, 5 minutes from Hammond, and 30 seconds from fishing licenses and sporting goods at Chapman's Sport Shop.
