Gillie is the name of two out of three parks located on Gedney Way. This park is conveniently located near to Stepinac High and is accessible by the local bus route in White Plains. The Recreation Administrative Office is there as well and can easily be spotted as by its exquisite stone exterior. This is the office that holds all the information to obtain a recreation ID. Gillie Park is kid-friendly, and adults can partake in numerous outdoor recreation activities there, such as: tennis, Har Tru, ToT playground, pool, basket and baseball courts, a recreation room and a restroom facility. It's an ideal spot to take a walk on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Plus it holds community affairs/events, and there are scheduled fun-filled activities for residents to participate in throughout the year.
