The Brooklyn Aikido Center, also known as the Honshinkan Dojo, was a traditional Japanese martial arts facility that focused on the practice of Aikido, the Way of Harmonizing Energy. Through blending, redirecting, and reacting to various energies generated by training partners, practitioners honed their skills in this ancient art form.
After three years of operation, the Brooklyn Aikido Center closed its doors, and its former Chief Instructor, Seth Giammanco Yondon, decided to rejoin the Jikishinkan Aikido Dojo in Boerum Hill. As a senior member and regular instructor at Jikishinkan, Seth continues to share his expertise and passion for Aikido, welcoming former members of the Brooklyn Aikido Center to join him in their training journey.
