Brockport Central School District is one of the oldest centralized districts in the United States. Located in Brockport, N.Y., the school district has been operational for more than 30 years. The district enrolls more than 5,000 students annually, and employs over 200 traditional and special education teachers, social workers, paraprofessionals, guidance counselors, night custodians, and administrative and support staff. It offers educational and cocurricular programs for children up to 12th grade. Brockport School District is approved by the North Central Association and New York State Board of Education. Its students participate in various programs, including recycling program, thanksgiving food drive, operation Christmas child, eagle choir, student and soldier pen pals, Tsunami relief fund, and student cancer fund. The district also offers Tribes and A Beka curriculum, class and grade level team newsletters, informed eagle electronic building resources, Internet software programs, family activity nights, parent informational meetings, reading and mathematics groups, and vocal and instrumental music programs.
