Located in Averill Park, N.Y., the Rotary Scout Reservation of the Twin Rivers Council is a summer camp. The camp offers various activities, such as ice fishing, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and sleigh riding. It also supplies a variety of active programs, including mountain biking and hiking for older scouts. The Rotary Scout Reservation provides accommodations for groups of up to 30 people. The Twin Rivers Council is a charter member of The Boy Scouts of America, which offers educational programs for boys and young adults to build character and develop personal fitness. The parent organization s scout camps are inspected and accredited annually by teams of trained volunteers to ensure the health, safety and quality of programs for campers.
