The Bedford Golf and Tennis Club is a private golf association with facilities on Cantitoe Street. Built in 1891 and listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 golf clubs to be established in the United States, the club includes nine tennis courts and a full golf course designed by Devereaux Emmet & Ken Dye. This 18-hole, par 71 course features 6,360 yards of scenic and hilly terrain, with water hazards on five holes, a course rating of 71.4 and slope 134.
