HistoryFounder John Bussani's vision to improve the quality of life for veterans, and ultimately many other people facing physical disabilities, took root in 1974. His inspiration came during a brief stay at an Army Hospital in the Vietnam era. When he returned home, he launched his family-owned business out of the trunk of his car and started installing hand controls in vehicles. Over the next few years, the word spread as people learned about a service that empowered disabled individuals to regain their mobility and independence. Over the course of four decades, Bussani Mobility continued to grow and change with the industry and the world at large.
