The Andrus Children's Center Mental Health Division offers a range of health care services for children who suffer from emotional and mental illnesses. The division provides crisis management services for issues related to death, domestic violence, sexual molestation, rape, accident, divorce and teenage pregnancy. The Andrus Children's Center Mental Health Division participates in Medicaid, Medicare and other insurance plans. It offers case management services, as well as conducts parenting sessions. The division is a part of the Andrus Children's Center, which was founded in 1978 and is accredited by the Council on Accreditation. Andrus Children's Center is a member of the American Association of Children's Residential Centers, Child Welfare League of America and National Association of Private Schools for Exceptional Children. The Andrus Children's Center Mental Health Division maintains one of its locations in Peekskill, N.Y.
