AMICO Senior Citizens Center is a non-profit organization founded in 1978 by a coalition of civic leaders in Brooklyn, NY. Dedicated to improving the quality of life for Italian Americans and community members of all backgrounds, AMICO offers a range of health, safety, and nutrition programs, as well as day trips to points of interest.
With a commitment to inclusivity, AMICO provides free services to New York residents without discrimination based on race, religion, sexual orientation, or cultural identification. Headed by Joan Pastore, DSW, and supported by a community board of directors, AMICO serves over 7,000 members through its various programs, including the AMICO 59th Street Older Adult Center, Eileen C.
