The Greater Allen A.M.E. Cathedral of New York encourages its members, individuals, groups and the surrounding communities. For more than 170 years, the church has been serving the community with more than 100 ministries. Located in Jamaica, N.Y., it provides one-on-one youth mentoring program as well as religious education programs for children, parents and older citizens. Through Hannah's prayer ministry, the church also assists couples to strengthen their spiritual lives and marriages through shared faith, prayers, experiences and information.
