Specialties
While I run a general adult outpatient psychotherapy, psychoanalysis and medication practice for all comers, I have additional expertise (1 year fellowship at Cornell Medical Center) in HIV and, as Editor in Chief of the Journal of Gay and Lesbian Mental Health (the U.S.A.'s psychiatric Professions main peer reviewed journal) for the past two years, I obviously have expertise in working with sexual minorities, including bisexual and gay/lesbian men and women, transgender men and women and intersex individuals. A supervisor of therapy at the William Alanson White Institute, I have conducted psychoanalysis, as a therapeutic specialty since 2002 and psychotherapy since 1992. I aim for and achieve sustained, measurable results with my patients as a result of our work together.
