Upward Motion Personal Training began as a personal mission of mine to make the world a healthier and happier place. My inspiration first began when I was 17; I was overweight, lacked self-esteem, and self-confidence. It was through the inspiration of one person that motivated me to become something more. I vowed to myself that I would be in a bodybuilding competition that summer and prove to myself that I can do anything if I put my mind and heart into it. In 6 months I lost 40 pounds and stepped on that bodybuilding stage a new and different person. I not only changed my life aesthetically, but also mentally and spiritually. It was on that stage that I knew I had to dedicate my life to inspire others to health and fitness.
