As a part of Taos County in New Mexico, the Administration department is comprised of several government offices. Its office of county manager is responsible for implementing policies that are established by the county s commission and coordinating the works of several government agencies. The office also represents the county in dealings with several government entities and community agencies. The office of county manager recommends annual budget and oversees county expenditures. Through an office of county attorney, the Administration department supervises the prosecution of all felony, misdemeanor and juvenile cases. Additionally, the office of county attorney provides consulting services for civil cases and governmental issues before various state courts, state agencies and administrative boards.
