History
Janet Harman has been the sole repair tech and owner of Second Wind Repair which she opened in 1988. She received her training from Gene Beckwith and John Huth at Red Wing Technical Institute and was mentored by Sheldon Kanis. She services woodwinds belonging to professionals, universities, adults and students alike throughout Northern NM. Her customers include Eddie Daniels, Doug Lawrence, Keith Lemmons, Lori Lovato and other prominent players throughout the region. She is an active member of NAPBIRT (the National Association of Professional Band Instrument Repair Technicians) and is continually developing her skills so each instrument plays to its full potential and meets the needs of the musician. She play tests each instrument before it leaves her shop.
