The Santa Fe County Fire Department (SFCFD) is a dedicated regional and district fire department that provides compassionate and high-quality emergency services to the people of Santa Fe County, New Mexico. Formed in 1997, SFCFD protects approximately 1900 square miles of unincorporated area and the incorporated Town of Edgewood, serving a population of around 70,000 residents and providing protection to several million square feet of commercial development.
Comprised of five regional stations, one substation, and twenty-six district stations, SFCFD integrates both career and volunteer firefighters.
