Don and Mary Pigford started San Juan Nurseries with one main purpose: to provide the finest quality plant materials and the best service in the Farmington area. San Juan Nurseries was first located on the south end of town, as most businesses were at that time. As Farmington began to develop north, they purchased property on 20th St. where San Juan Nurseries' home today was made. SJN is still a growing family business today. The third generation, Donnie and Myra Pigford, who now own and operate the store, want to uphold all of the wonderful qualities that have kept Farmington and surrounding areas coming to San Juan Nurseries since 1951!
