History
We started in 2009 renting a commercial kitchen space. I enjoyed baking and in 2013 starting working to make the cakes look as beautiful as they taste. That same year, Albuquerque The Magazine featured our red velvet cheesecake in their Mother's Day guide and things took off. We were named a top five bakery by their readers two years in a row, named a best bet for wedding cakes by NM Magazine and we've had features in several national magazines. We opened our storefront in July of 2014 to meet the growing demand for our treats.
Specialties
Q's Cakes is a veteran owned and operated business. We make our items from scratch with a whole lot of love. We are known for taking the ordinary and adding our unique twists to them. Our top sellers are our red velvet cheesecake, and 6 layer coconut cream cake. We also make red velvet sopapillas and our New Mexican hot chocolate cookies with a spicy kick.
