New Mexico Farm & Livestock Bureau is an independent, nongovernmental and voluntary organization of farm and ranch families that analyze agricultural problems and formulate actions to achieve educational awareness and social advancement. Its New Mexico Ag in the Classroom division increases students ability to function more effectively as agriculturally literate citizens and be supportive of wise environmental policies and programs. New Mexico Farm & Livestock Bureau assists educators with teaching more about the role of agriculture in a nation's total economy and society. Its New Mexico Farm Bureau Women's Committee promotes and assists the state organization by involving women through development of their leadership skills, agricultural education and other Farm Bureau concerns.
