Heinley Fine Arts was established in Boston in 1990, where Ms. Heinley imported 19th century French paintings for her Boston clientele. Heinley began her career in Paris where she lived for five years. While there she worked with a family collection of post-impressionist paintings and eventually marketed them in through Vose Galleries of Boston. Soon after, she found her special niche as a curator and began her career as an international art dealer in French paintings. Heinley first visited Taos, New Mexico in 1997, and was captivated by the unspoiled charm and rugged beauty of the land. She continued to return and soon built a home on the Rio Grande River. In 2011 she moved to Taos permanently and opened Heinley Fine Arts/Contemporary. She began exhibiting Taos Moderns: Beatrice Mandelman, Louis Ribak and Alyce Frank . The gallery now focuses on the very best contemporary landscapes of the Southwest including James Pringle Cook, Jeff Cochran, Evelyne Boren and many others.
