History
In August 2018, Silver Whiskers was established to assist Deming Animal Guardians in raising money for their ongoing efforts to control animal overpopulation in our county. Our name is based on the Silver Avenue community location, the silver whiskers of our beloved animals and silver haired men and women who care to participate in our goals. After years of events and fundraisers in Luna County, NM, it was determined that the community support was here for us and we would be able to sustain a unique gift & treasures shopping experience through estate donations, the support of the former Galleria Antique store owners, volunteers and more. Since 1991, all of us volunteering with DAG are humbled by the love received consistently from the community. We would never have accomplished what we have with out all of you.
