Wayside Fire Company covers the southern section of Tinton Falls and answers about 320 call a year including motor vehicle accidents, extrication and fire alarms. The fire company is one of four volunteer companies in the borough and along with the Pine Brook Fire Company make up Tinton Falls Fire District 1. Wayside provides mutual aid to surrounding communities including Naval Weapons Station Earle, Neptune Township and Ocean Township.
