Founded in 1961 and located in Scotch Plains, N.J., Union Catholic High School is a coeducational school that serves students in grades nine through 12. It provides academic and religious educational programs and higher learning opportunities. The school s academic curriculum includes English, humanities, mathematics, science, social studies, and performing and visual arts. Union Catholic High School also provides courses in journalism, mass communication, graphics and designing, music and foreign languages with a choice in Spanish, French, Italian and Japanese. Additionally, the school provides technology education that includes courses in desktop publishing and computer software such as Java and Cisco networking. It also provides academic guidance and financial aid through scholarships to its students. It additionally provides religious education that includes Bible study classes. Union Catholic High School provides various sports activities, such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, bowling, cross country, swimming and tennis.
