Started as The Sam Ash Music Institute, the Groove Academy has been in continuous existence in central New Jersey for over 20 years. Since we moved to our location in Metuchen we enjoy the company of other student related businesses around us.
Specialties
Lessons in instrumental and vocal music for all ages and levels of experience. We teach traditional technique and combine it with contemporary songs to keep the student involved playing music they can relate to while mastering the instrument. If you want to learn all that is possible on your instrument or voice, we're the place to come. Individual Computer Based Recording lessons with an experienced recording engineer are offered as well.
