Since 1860, St. James Church has been a large presence in the life of township residents, even those who aren't Catholic. The church started out in a wooden frame building and the present stone structure overlooks the Woodbridge downtown area. The church performs baptisms and weddings, oversees communions and confirmations and has a wide variety of ministries including a rosary society, a parish council, a large food bank and communion services for the homebound and sick.
