Founded in 198, African Services Committee is a nonprofit organization that provides health care and self-sufficiency services for African community in New York City. It is a multiservice agency that assists assisting immigrants, refugees and asylees from across the African Diaspora. The agency s programs addresses the needs of individuals affected by war, persecution, poverty and global health inequalities. African Services Committee assists immigrants with programs that focus on health and nutrition, English skills and adjusting immigration status.
