In operation for more than 50 years, Somerville Elementary School serves students in kindergarten through grade five. The school offers classes in math and science. It administers the English as a Second Language program. The school provides special education classes for children with learning disabilities. Somerville Elementary School also has a library that includes a variety of books and reference materials. The school operates chess and journalism clubs.
