The Armenian community in Fair Lawn pooled their monies to build this church, which includes a ballroom and gym, in 1965. In 1981 the church was expanded to include the Saint Leon Community Center.
The 400-family church is named after the fifth century Armenian spiritual leader, Saint Leon. It offers bible study and deacon's training; a senior citizen center, women's guild, men's fellowship, and sports association; and a Sunday school.
