Specialties
Established in 1872 as an Inn and Tavern for tourists visiting Bellewood amusement park. The Pattenburg House is one of the oldest taverns in Hunterdon County. Throughout the decades, The Pattenburg House had never closed its doors to the public; not even during the prohibition. The history of this little town that was named for its patent on rye whiskey, is on display on our custom bar top. In keeping with tradition, The Pattenburg House is still bringing you a fantastic array of beverages; from rare craft beers on tap, to some of the best cocktails available today. While we have modernized The Pattenburg House for your comfort and entertainment, we strive to maintain the historic appeal and authenticity of a long lived treasure. Whether you are looking for great food from our kitchen, live entertainment, a friendly atmosphere, or just a place to relax with a cold drink, The Pattenburg House is the bar for you.
