Jack decided to follow in his father's footsteps, and by 1990 he owned two salons of his own. Then, in 1996, Jack and his father partnered their salons. All locations became Panico Salon and Spa. Jack assumed the leadership role and since then has taken the business to a whole new level by: overseeing the complete renovation and remodeling of all three locations, installing computers to enhance customer service, implementing state-of-the-art technology in all departments, restructuring policies and procedures, and growing his 75 member staff to a 200-plus organization. Jack lives by the notion of incorporating talented, responsible people in the organization, believing the company is only as good as the people in it. So it is his mission to continue building meaningful relationships with his staff members. In an industry where employee turnover is extremely high, Jack is proud to say the majority of our staff has been with the Panico organization for more than a decade ; several stylists, directors, and managers have been with the company since the early 1970's. These internationally-educated, award-winning employees exemplify Panico's pledge to excellence in every aspect of the business. In fact, the staff actively participates in our industry's most prestigious events, including: modeling competitions, nationally televised makeover talk shows, trade show competitions, and world renowned championships where they have won many international awards of excellence. Many Panico staff are also frequently featured in major fashion and trade publications. For over 40 years the Panico name has been synonymous with the ultimate in hair and beauty care.
