Operational for more than 20 years, Eastside High School is a part of Paterson Public School District. Located in Paterson, N.J., the school offers educational and cocurricular programs for children in grades nine through grade 12. It utilizes various classroom strategies and practices, such as cooperative learning, peer tutoring, teacher guidance, team teaching, differentiated instruction, multiple path learning, looping classroom and individual learning solutions. Eastside High also uses academic intervention and guidance, testing sessions, counseling, study skill work, monitoring procedures, partners in education program, the multiage classroom method and integrated curriculum. Additionally, the school employs more than 100 teachers, social workers, night custodians, therapists, counselors, paraprofessionals and care managers.
