Established in 1999, New York City Performing Arts Centre (NYCPAC) is a non-competitive school. It features a faculty that consists of alums from The Juilliard School, The Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and Performing Arts in NYC (The Fame School), Nutmeg Conservatory and Shenandoah University. It is a year-round school that offers classes in modern (Martha Graham technique), ballet, pointe, lyrical, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and theater arts for ages 2 – adult.
NYCPAC aims to instill a love of the performing arts in each student. It has mentored many students into high school and university theater and dance programs, where full scholarships have been awarded and many have gone on to become professionals in his or her given field. NYCPAC strives to provide each student with the self-discipline and confidence needed to succeed.
