The New Providence Board of Education oversees the town's school district, which includes Salt Brook Elementary School, Allen W. Roberts Elementary School, New Providence Middle School and New Providence High School. Located in the Municipal Center, the Board of Education handles all student records, referendum projects, maintenance of the schools and any visitors to the school district. The Board of Education, which includes four administrators and seven members, holds meetings on Thursdays evenings in the New Providence High School/Middle School Media Center unless otherwise noted on its website. Meetings are open to the public.
